The anchor beneath the surface for your freedom to fly
Flying Anchor Event Design - a Seattle-based wedding planning and coordination company - focuses on client education, guest experience, and strong interpersonal relationships as the magic formula for a spectacular wedding adventure. We are your Planning Partner in the months leading up to your wedding, then seamlessly shift to the Unsung Hero working tirelessly in the background on your wedding day. Sometimes we put out literal and metaphorical fires, but either way you know that you are covered to fully experience the best day of your life.
Meet Lauren - Boss Babe & Planning Partner
I created Flying Anchor Event Design to share my passion for planning and coordinating weddings for clients like you! My mission is to provide you with an extraordinary experience, from the start of planning all the way to your send off on the night of your wedding.
Before joining the Seattle wedding and events industry, I was a psychology nerd working in early childhood education management. I tend to joke that my time spent with young children prepared me to be successful in the wedding industry. The honest truth, is that IT TOTALLY DID!
Young children and first-time parents taught me how to bring humor, creativity, patience, and flexibility into tough and sensitive situations. These are the qualities that I now bring to you before, during, and after your wedding day.
Small, personal details and surprise elements truly inspire me and I love designing a plan where we can incorporate them throughout your wedding day. I'm talking about dinos, Harry Potter, puns, and surprise ceremony locations. The sky is the limit and I can't wait to discover what we can create together!
